Very worthy aim to strive to reach the Ansel standard. I recall that stark light too. Only needs a blue sky, small clouds and a red filter. Very Very good effort. TG

Difficult to capture what took so long to achieve by the great man. It's good and the grain adds a special something.

Difficult to get the large format effect using a 20D but if you're lucky enough to be there you've got to try. Such harsh light. Great effort. But best of all - you were there.
