THE TWO OF US . . .For some reason this reminds me of a mother and child. Kind of a "Sunbonnet mother and child". Could just be me !

I have to say I am having such a wonderful time with this sunflower series. They just seem to flow, don't know what I will do when they are all gone!

Hubby went on vacation this weekend and I sent my good Nikon with him to get good pics of the grandkids. But oh my! Did I ever miss it today when the perennial garden was filled with all kinds of flying flowers. I am chasing them around with an old point and shoot without a viewfinder just the digital window! These do not work well when the sun is shining. Unfortunately my butterflies don't know the bright sunlight is a hindrence because that is when they are in their glory!

I want to thank CarolG, helenlinda, barbarahirst, Lillian and Rolepic for their user awards! I am just blown away at the positive response. Thanks to everyone who voted and commented also. You are a great lot, my EPZ family! Love you all!

Not sure about the frame now that I see it on here. A little overkill maybe, let me know, please!

Once again, thanks for looking and God bless,
Patti Smile

But the Coolpix is still serving you well, Patti: I like your description of this pair of blooms, the newer fresher colours of the smaller flower sitting against the richer yellows of the larger, just like a parent and offspring.......a nice way of putting it.
Ronnie.

A gorgeous bright and cheerful image to wake up to, Patti Smile However, I do think that the frame could be toned down a little, and maybe not so wide. Carol

Such a well coloured frame filler here.
And I don't mind the additional colour with the frame too !!

Beautiful shot !!.....but for me the border is competing with the colours in the main image, & detracts from the overall effect !!...perhaps desaturating the border might help ??... or
just use a neutral light-grey ???......other than that it's a corker !!!!!

Tried it with a neutral grey as you suggested and it is a much better border. Thanks!
