Here we are in Valletta and this time I managed to get an angry stare!
The lady was so frustrated that I took their picture that she chased me down and demanded an explanation. Of course the rest of the group being foreigners didn't bother much. Us Maltese are very touchy on these things.
But ultimately we agreed about the photo and told me that I managed to get quite an angry look out of hers. She's a really nice lady afterall ![]()
Hope you like.

I don't know what we can do legally in Malta wish street photography, it's typically why I shy away from this genre or picture taking myself. Ever came across advice on the matter?

Morning mate. My best advice, since we're the scapegoats going around carrying massive equipment and being seen taking pictures, is simply and gently ask the person concerned if it's ok to keep the picture. Or else simply HIDE and snap-away to your heart's content. Because as far as I know there's Billions of people who carry cameraphones taking pictures of Joe public. Do they get noticed? I think not.
Be kind to others and respect their privacy. But street photography in itself can be very rewarding.
Cheers and have a great day mate.
