Excellent - I'm sure the onlookers will take their hands out of their pockets if the apprentice needs any help!!

The great advantage of this treatment is the generalisation of the scene - it might have taken place almost any time in the last 50 years!
(And of course a group of men standing round with their hands in their pockets watching someone else at work is universal, too Wink)
Excellent.

Bill

The same as it takes to change a light bulb lol. Very good photo Nazih, men at work nicely presented, like the choice of colour works very well, and good detail and tones, looks like an old time photo, very well done, regards Leon.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Everyman times five. There's something universal in this.
It reminds me of a lot of Frank Meadow Sutcliffe's work in 19th Century Whitby. See here, here, here for comparison.

A very well observed scene, many possible narratives waiting to unfold. Great processing, adding a vintage feeling which is very appealing.

Quite right Moira. One of my favourite photographers, discovered him on my visit to Whitby.

Can I ask you,Nezih, are they council employees? Great shot and a great presentation. Well done.

We're all agreed about the fact that it needs five men to complete a job, as witnessed here! Love the processing Nezih!
