The great advantage of this treatment is the generalisation of the scene - it might have taken place almost any time in the last 50 years!
(And of course a group of men standing round with their hands in their pockets watching someone else at work is universal, too
)
Excellent.

Bill
Great candid taken to a different era by the processing applied. Wonderful image.

One apprentice, four supervisors! - somethings never change
A timeless capture, enhanced by the processing. A fine image, Nezih.

It reminds me of a lot of Frank Meadow Sutcliffe's work in 19th Century Whitby. See here, here, here for comparison.

Quite right Moira. One of my favourite photographers, discovered him on my visit to Whitby.
Can I ask you,Nezih, are they council employees? Great shot and a great presentation. Well done.

I am honoured, Moira. Thank you so much, but my humble shot cannot compare to those of his.
Great group / social portrait, like the processing.
Thankyou for your vote on my "sign of the pagan"
