A rather elegant lady doing her drawing. V2's one in colour but I wasn't sure about it.

Stylish mono. The colour gives a different but pleasing emphasis. Smile

Love the shadows on her legs, Chris, unusually, the mono version works best for me. Carol

Like them both Chris, but think colour has the edge this time.

I love the colours in V2, but for me it's too busy with distractions in the background. The mono V1 seems to really concentrate the attention on the artist herself, who's completely engrossed in what she's doing.

Both convey a private place. Somehow V2, by contrasting the sunlit passers-by, gives a greater sense of the lady's private world. She's observing, detached.

I prefer the story my mind has when looking at V2. She is oblivious to the passerbys. Intent on her view of what she's drawing. Like it very much.

Two super street candids here, Chris Smile Each version's quite different, and it would be a difficult choice to pick a fave, each have their own merits....so half a vote for each! Wink

I think I would have liked version 2 if it hadn't been for the people in the background and I would have liked v1 better if it had been in colour..............................simples.
