Taking a break from the past tonight. Was over at Trenton Park today (yesterday to you over there) and got these shots. This was from a snow fall we had on Monday.
Many thanks for your C&C's on Halifax Public Gardens 2, very much appreciated.

Sunshine, blue skies, snow and a scenic spot.....you can't really go far wrong with that combo, Jim, as this lovely winter selection shows.
Seems iniquitous to choose a winner but for me it would be V 2......very nicely balanced landscape and the presence of the distant walker (and dog???) just adds that final touch.
Ronnie.
The park looked amazing in its Autumn finery and looks just as amazing under the blanket of snow. Lovely images and an excellent record of the changing seasons.
Dave
Wonderful Winter captures. I like V1.
Well done. WesternRed.
Wonderful light and shadows in these beautiful winter landscapes Jim, like me you have some great locations for photography within close reach of home. Alas I never had any light like this when we had the snow this year. I think we shall probably miss the next wave that is predicted to hit this country this weekend, the South West is forecast heavy rain and sleet
Excellent! V5 is my fav. - great composition,
Johanna
