The Bold Robin

Well I know robins are often bold enough to come close to gardeners when out in the garden, but this little fella was extra bold (probably because he is so young - still not got his adult redbreast feathers). After he appeard and I fetched the camera he was still hopping close to where I was digging, though when the big white L lens appeared he flew off into a tree, still easily within visable range, but far further off. So I left the camera to one side and returned to digging at the ground; and soon enough he was quite happy to fly back down and didn't fly off when I picked the camera up again (the camera and lens having remaind in full view the whole time). Infact he often came so close that he came withing my min. focusing distance.

Infact I think his boldness was his method of getting food over the other resident robins, since they were too skittish to come close to me working (and the camera) whilst he was not. So he got his fill and I got my shots
