A postscript to my River Wye series. As I mentioned previously, after taking my dog for a walk I called in at a public house to slake my thirst, I had decided to sit on the outside patio, as it was a lovely day. When Tammy and I went onto the patio we heard some 'woofing' coming from the backdoor of the pub. Tammy answered in a like tone, and the commotion soon settled down after both dogs had said all that they had to say.
I had noticed that the noise had been made by the dog in the picure, who, after making his presence felt had gone to sleep on the step. So as I never get a good picture of Tammy, who is a very bad model, who thinks, that when I have the camera in my hand it is the signal to move around rapidly or look the other way, I thought that this may be the time to get a dog portrait. As I approached him he opened one eye and looked at me. I think that he must have noticed the camera because he immediately sat up and posed, then after I had taken a couple of shots, he went back to sleep.
I don't know whether it's my imagination, but I think that the eyes, in the picture, follow you around.
I hope you enjoy this picture, and thanks for looking, and for all of your previous clicks and comments.
Brian

Certainly made good eye contact there, he is obviously used to his role in life, Bark, sleep, pose , sleep.good days work done :o)) Might just suggest getting rid of the bit of cage on the left, it is just a little distracting. Great job overall though. Bill.

You should pin this where Tammy can see it as an example of how a dog should pose Wink

A great capture Brian, and a nice end to your River Wye Walk, with Tammy.

Kevin

Oh he;s pointing that thing at me again is he , humph , il just give him my sternest look then ,........Great pic , Riff

What a handsome bulldog you have there. Almost looks like my sister's English Bulldog "Fergus"!

I love the expression of his eyes. It's as if he's resigned to the fact that you're going to take his picture. Regarding the eyes, they do seem to follow you around--it's not your imagination!

Chris J.

Just class what a shot and pose well captured.
Debbie.
