Been without a computer for a few days. It started behaving oddly.
The butchers in a Kenyan town.
We did see several combined butchery and hotels and also the Nuclear Service Station!
This is one a kind image that I see in National Geographic magazine's inside stories
A health & safety nightmare if it was in the UK
interesting and excellent image.
Very African, John. Love the narrative !!!
Bet they have not got trading standards out there lol. nice shot well done, regards Leon.
Looks a bit grubby, John, but no doubt the meat tastes excellent Carol
Yip !! African style for sure !! A great photo John !!
My Kenyan friend over here bemoans the fact she can't find goat meat. No wonder she is in such awe of our super markets!
Superb image, excellent composition, well spotted and captured
Certainly very africa John, looks like a quite time too
So interesting but think I'd pass on purchasing there!
'Tom's Butchery' - sounds kinda sinister!! Excellent local 'colour', John.

A well observed and composed photograph
A bit different to my local butchery! Excellent presentation, John
I'm amusing myself imagining a visit from our local 'Elf 'n Safety mob...
Nice one. Your friendly local butcher...
such a laid back imags.... timeless
Excellent shot don't think they get away with it in this country
This is a great image and so evocative of Africa! Love it!
Seen it all now what a fantastic picture, i take it this is on par with Waitrose Butchers and it's one of their better outlets , but i still wouldn't buy the sausages.
Yes, I was also thinking what health inspectors here would say. Also, don't see the word butchery used much over here. In the US one like to gloss over reality a bit.
Very interesting to see, and I imagine visiting a place like this is quite an experience. Hope you stayed well. My aunt and cousin travelled to India one year and came back seriously ill.
As for computers, I've been fighting with a dodgy keyboard most of the morning - and was once again reminded of how dependent I've become on this "box".
Looks as if Dewhursts have branched out to Kenya.... an interesting insight into a different culture.
Well done John.
superb atmosphere captured...!
