I'm confident that this guy needs no introduction to most of you, but to those classical music and opera lovers, this is Slash - ex lead guitarist for Guns n Roses and Velvet Revolver but now fronting his own group with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators AND all-round guitar genius!!!

Taken during the gig on Monday evening whilst trying not to be crushed by the flailing Mosh Pit directly in front of me. Taken with my compact but I'm pretty happy with the results all the same.

Great capture! I wanted to go to the gig but passed on it as I had to get up for work the next day and it meant travelling back home across the Pennines after. I'm a big fan of Myles and his other group Alter Bridge.

Yeah me too Nikita ... Blackbird's my fave album, closely followed by ABIII. Mark Tremonti is supporting all Slash's London shows, I believe ... would love to see them!!!

Blackbird is a great album, in fact the track itself is awesome live! I've seen them a couple of times now Smile. Tremonti is supporting them in London which I can imagine will be great for anyone going!

As I said, great shot! Better than any I've ever tried to get in the pit. Smile
