Giants Causeway yesterday evening

First time out this year with the camera. Ended up at the Giants Causeway in some of the windiest conditions ive ever experienced there. Massive waves and sea spray everywhere. Although it looks reasonably calm in this shot it certainly wasnt and im amazed i came home with a usable image from this location.

Thanks
Gary

In those conditions you have done a good job to get a useable image Gary.

Conditions sound awful so despite that you have managed a fine sunset shot with the some warm light catching on the faces of the f/g basaltic columns: the long exposure has smoothed the seas and hidden how wild the waves were.
Ronnie.

Thanks everyone Smile, i was nearly blown off my feet at one point and one of the other photographers tripod blew over and broke his 17-40 lens Sad. an unfortunate end to what was an enjoyable day out.

Well worth all the dangers. Maybe not for the fellow who is out one lens. A beautiful capture......Sandy

GOOD SHOT. With those conditions you have captured the drama very well.
Top marks for a great seascape capture.
