This is from my fateful trip to the Black Country trip where I broke both camera's, this was taken on my wifes small Nikon point and shoot.

The Black Country has a fish and chip shot that opens every day at twelve, this was taken at 11a.m., they started cueing at about 10.30a.m. I just think it is mad that they pay all that money to get in to stand in a cue for Fish and Chips.

I like this picture as you keep looking at it and see someone different, you wonder what they are thinking, what that little boy is saying and so on.

Hope you like.

Thank you for your continued surport, means a lot specially at this moment in time.

Please view large.

Paul

There are great advantages to wives having small Nikons. Nice shot. Perfect for b&w.

I like this shot alot! It could almost have been taken 100 years ago! Did they have fish and chip shops then?
Great stuff, well spotted!

What a fantastic shot!
I can't believe they cue that long for fish and chips. You could make your own in less time! Brilliant bit of social imagery. Love it.

Fish and chips the national dish ain't it Paul. Another fine observation, stories to be told. Hope you manage to salvage your camera's so continuing your great images. Ron.

A superbly composed scene which is perfectly suited to b&w. Is this the chip shop where Elvis works? lol

Queue for fish and chips? I'd queue not to eat them! Ha-ha! Super capture.

I must admit that I have never had any from there and I go 4 or 5 times a year. Just don't want to waist my time in cues. Thank you so much for your comments.

A great shot of real life. Excellent work. Sorry to hear about you losing your cameras so I hope that you had them insured.

I thought the people were in a queue to see the Queen or something....but to get fish and chips - hmmmm. Does no one cook a meal in the Black Country?

Cheers,
Joe

Good grief, are they mad.
Great shot though and you certainly can look for ages, so many great candids. Nicely observed.
