The Dance of the Tripods, In the Pouring Rain.
There are still savage areas of the world where tripods run wild. They frolic and cavort, and have yet to learn to bow to the domination of the Photographer.
Can you hear the drums?... .. . I can hear the drums.

Well, blUe you've managed to catch one of those rear occasions that they dance! You've caught the diagonal and the dull moody weather well. The conditions have to be just right. Super work with classic blUe humour and technical quality.
What would they look like on a sunny day?

You mean, the ones being played by those men in white coats?
Seriously imaginitive image, beautifully controlled. Your description is a masterpiece ![]()

Reminds me more of a can-can dance. There's definitely a touch of the high kicks and skirt swirling going on in this one.

Reminds me of those Pink Floyd marching hammers from one of the videos for "The Wall". Rather sinister this Eric, tripods in arms, Lebensraum for tripods, waves of tripods sweeping across Europe with the Stukas and Tigers following on behind.
Crikey, I'm off to build a shelter in my back-garden.
great eric , makes my stuff look like pretty landscapes now ! far out mate.

Round and round and up and down we go now
Do the Manfrotto, Manfrotto time is here … bap bap!
Sometimes it’s best to just agree.

Good effect, Eric. As for the write-up, well bring on the stronger medication.

Love the narrative, and DaveU has it for me with the Pink Floyd theme, although I prefer the tripod can-can myself
Full of movement and fun.

Always a variety and something knew and enterprising from you, most enterprising
I've never seen these 'live' only in pictures and of course on David Attenborough's T.V. programmes. Very effective use of the toolbox...
