Picture of a derelict barn as dusk approached. The photo tries to capture the natural shadow cast by the receding sunlight although I wish I had got here earlier to get the rafters in the sun...............

There's a lovely, chilly-evening feeling to this picture. Beautifully seen, and I agree that sun on the rafters would have made it even more special.

Some of the details show up rather aggressively, and I wonder if you have sharpened it more than a fraction: a few of the lines in the stonework on the end of the barn look as if they've been drawn on.

I am absolutely not a digital processing expert, but my feeling is that a little more softness is often better than a little more sharpness. However, this may be rather conditioned by my eyesight (if I don't put my glasses on, the world beyond five feet is just fractionally softened!)
