The Drinker Euthrix potatoria
This moth gets its English (and Latin) name from the habits of the caterpillar, which is supposed to have a liking for drops of dew.
Morning all
Well the problems I was having with the webcams are all now sorted and I now have a cam placed in the nest box, what's more it's pretty much interference free ![]()
Very busy today with one thing and another so will be in and out as and when I can make it, but as usual I hope to see what everyone is up too. Thanks for all the comments on yesterdays image......Ade
Webcam is now live 24/7 and is currently showing a hedgehog fast asleep in the nest box, he'll probably be there until it gets dark, which will be the time I switch the system over to the garden cam. Best viewed using IE8 or higher, point your browser to Ade's Hedgehog Cam

Beautiful golden colour, Ade. The link doesn't work though.
Dave
Marvellous detail and colours in this cracking close up Ade, when I saw the title I thought you had been sitting in your garden at night drinking some cider and this moth had flown down and decided to help himself to your pint!![]()

Quote: Fluffy................. fat............. and beautifully tanned
Just like me ![]()
As Meatloaf once sang "two out of three ain't bad", although I think you are stretching it by saying beautifully tanned! Unless that is what you consider the tangoed David Dickenson look to be!![]()
