As well as taking wider views of the "Eye", I also took a number of more abstract images - this is one showing the structure of the wheel. I've uploaded the B&W version first as I marginally prefer it.
I wanted to include the colour version as a variant for comparison, but the system isn't letting me do so for some reason... You may have to wait until tomorrow for that - sorry!
EDIT: The Flash player had died... I have now uploaded the colour version as a variant! Which do you prefer?
Technical details:
Exposure: ISO 640, 1/2500th sec. @f8
PS Elements: Straightened via FRL and cropping, brightened slightly via levels, shadow cloned out of bottom RH corner; converted to B&W using the "vivid landscapes" setting. Sharpened/bordered/framed.
