- - - of a Rainy Day.
Another from possibly one of the most dramatic spots in this land. Seems like whatever the conditions, there is always something of interest here.

love the dreamy feel

Sublime backdrop and sky but I find the foreground a little dark and bland. But then I probably just got out of bed the wrong side this morning!

Note to self: must make the effort to get here sometime. Love the juxtaposition here between the top left of the shot with all the movement and the rest in tack sharp detail.

Beauty of a shot, like the detail in the fg and the mist over the hills

Hi Melanie

I can see what Sandy is getting at with the foreground. However when you open it up large there's just so much to enjoy. I think the rock shelf surrounded by coloured stones stands up nicely with the rest of the image. The degree of fine detail throughout is quite stunning!

You are quite right - no matter what the weather or the time of year, there is always a picture to be had here... looks like you had another successful week away - and not long till the next one eh!

Yes, this is an excellent place. Good job handling the light here and the detail in the foreground and distant hills is superb.

Works well on three levels this - dreamy background, floaty sea and sharp foreground.

The small version doesn't begin to offer the sheer quality that's delivered with such force by the large version. Stupendous, Melanie; pure class throughout.
