Good Evening! Welcome to the Final Chapter of our photographic adventure in Cornwall!
We have always managed to avoid going to Land's End on our Cornish trips, as we prefer to go somewhere to do photography where parking is free.
However, since we were "doing the family thing", and since we found out that we could use the car-park ticket when we returned later AND as it was a mere 8 miles or so from the cottage, we bit the bullet and stumped up the fiver!
Did the usual touristy stuff in the afternoon, then went back to St Just and had tea at the pub, before dropping Beth back at the cottage and returning to see if the sunset goddess was going to be good to us. I have to admit, it was looking dodgy all day, with huge swathes of flat grey cloud coming and going, but there was blue sky, and a touch of hope. The forecast was for heavy rain all day, so we already felt like we were onto a winner when all we got were the clouds!!
Anyway, we wandered over to see if we could get much - the light burst out from behind the clouds, played ball for about an hour and then, as quickly as it arrived, disappeared behind a bank of cloud, never to show its face again that night!
I tried my best to take advantage - I hope you think I achieved my goal! Big Stoppr again, I'm afraid - AND as it's been almost a week since you saw one from me, a squarescape©
Realised as I was posting this that our last shoot in wonderful Cornwall this year at the END of a fabulous week of family fun and photography was at Land's END. Kinda appropriate, 'eh?
Have a great evening, Thanks for your time - pasta bake for tea, cooked by MrS's fair hands, plus Waterloo Road - so I'll catch up soon
