I spent today in London and a very nice day it was too. I got dropped off at the Natural History Museum at about 11.15am - then wandered down into town to Buck House where I caught the Changing of the Guard presumably - lots of guys is Busbys marching about, lots of police horses, a couple of nice carriages and horses and no-one able to move anywhere.

Once I managed to escape it was on to Trafalgar Square which was a waste of time due to the Mayor of London stuff going on there so I carried on down to Westminster and then a wander along the South Bank as far as the Festival Hall and then retraced my steps back to the Natural History Museum. I had 15 minutes left to take a quick look in there and must visit properly sometime.

Meanwhile here's one of the view earlier on today - a bit misty but it turned out warm enough to be able to shed my hoodie and wander about in a sleeveless t-shirt - which was nice......

Given a bit of Topaz Adjust and levels tweak....

You tried to take a lot in Alison. Nice moody shot here. Smile

Trafalgar Square is Pants these days. There's always some sort of demonstration or rubbish going on. In the "old days" of the pigeons it was full of fun and interest. Lots of London's getting boring lately.

Thanks folks Smile

I didn't do too badly - I had 5 1/2 hours there and managed roughly a bit over 7 miles giving myself time to stand and stare occasionally Smile

Good bit of editing with that added sparkle to
a very misty London image.
