First, I want to thank you for all the lovely comments on my azalea yesterday. I was thrilled to see it so well received. I am slowly catching up after being away.

About the faces...the details of the exterior of the Biltmore Estate could fill a large book. These are four of the faces which are carved around the roof line, like gargoyles, but less threatening. The Viennese sculpter, Karl Bitter, designed most of the decorative sculpture. I could have studied the exterior for days!

Wonderful captures Joline.
I like all of them, but in particular no; 3, he reminds me a little of Bacchus, the god of wine.

Excellent captures with great detail and colour. I like the bandoneon player best - but then I would, wouldn't I?

I knew Bill would appreciate V2! You've captured detail well, there's good contrast in the features. Not easy with light-coloured stone.

You've captured these beautifully Joline......is there any significance in the fact they all look to the left?
