...quite nice if you have a copy of Frank Sinatra singing The Falling leaves... ***running your cursor along the versions changes the colours, and it's fun

this is the tree outside my kitchen window as a few days pass and the colours change, I've not waited for the leaves to all vanish, you can imagine the twigs left I'm quite sure.

The Scots oak will be a shadow of it's former self. The nearest I can get to The Woolybills challenge .

Good idea, Dougie, capturing the changing colours as the days slip by and under different lighting conditions too.

Some beautiful colours in the trees just now, but no weather to go and photograph them Sad. Lovely to just watch them change though. Moira

A lovely exercise, I keep meaning to do something like this.
The shadows are Tony64's challenge, we merely serve in the ranks...

I've been doing this myself these days - it is amazing how fast the leaves change colour and fall off the branches. Trees that have been green only a few days ago are almost bare now. It is said - that a cold and soon winter is following. Well... there we go again!
