One of my favorite places in Austria is the Oedsee. Being there during sunrise gives me a very special feeling.

Welcome Henrik. A very nice shot indeed.
Composition has the edge of the lake in the centre, - might look better if it was on a third, - more sky, less foreground, - but you risk losing tose rocks.
The colour tone is quite blue, - it suits this, but I wounder if a slightly warmer white balance would work. Try shooting in RAW, you can chamge white balance in post processing.
Ive uploaded a mod with white balance, contrast, and reduced highlights for a little more detail. If you scroll up you will see the modifications tab.
Enjoy the site,
regards
Willie

Hi
nice shot. nice natural and unforced exposure, the mist rising is great to see, gives me a buz every time.
the blue cast is pretty natural for this type of early morning lakeside but i wonder if a few seconds later, the colours would have exploded into life on the mountain ridges as the sun directly clipped them. this looks like pretty much the instant the sun hit the horizon. that richer red tone on the tops would have made a big difference to the impact.
the foreground rock is nice and necessary and i like the reflection from it too but maybe too far right and too close up. a small adjustment to position and a slight zoom out may have helped but hey for all i know there may have been other obstructions to prevent that.
lovely view, there is one very similar in Kitzbuel that i am fond of.
regards
Phil
Thank you for all your comments!
Concerning composition I must say that I've thought about it for an hour before the morning sun touched the mountains and couldn't find any better position. The shore is kind of steep there.
I've tried a warmer version but I didn't match the cold impression I had this morning but it could be an option.
Regards,
Henrik
