Taken on holiday up in Cairngorms near Glenmore Lodge.
There were so many shades of green when the light shone through the trees.
One photo doesn't always portray the overall beauty of a scene you want to share.
I'm sure you've all felt that.
Many thanks for votes The Flower Fairy yesterday
which my daughter read with interest! Thank you all for being kind about my portraiture
and ideas about crop (Joline).
Kate

I agree that the photo does not always show the scene as you see it but I could not imagine this being any better, the light hitting and showing the detail in the bark is quite amazing. - gary

I just love to see a line up of trees so ''straight'' as this Kate !!
Good rugged textures on the bark too.
But a bit too rough for any tree huggers I would think !!
Good shot.
Mick.

I agree with your remarks up top, Kate, but you have still managed to show the forest and the lush carpet of vegetation below. Just the sort of image I like.

A rather beautiful and almost magical woodland which with the points already raised, turn out to be something rather special.
