Hi PradyothChakraborty,
I rather like this. There's plenty of colour and character in this old building. I'm sure that if it could speak it would tell many tales.
I've uploaded a mod. in which I've de-saturated the greens slightly and possibly not enough. I've made a slight adjustment using the shadows/highlights tool and I've added one of my spare skies.
I tried to desaturate the blue as well because I think that the new sky, coupled with the colour of the top of the building, has presented a blue cast to the top of the image. With hindsight, I think a paler sky, perhaps with some clouds for the building to contrast against would have been better.
Anyway, I hope it gives you some ideas.
Regards,
Bren.
Sorry Frank, I did not get any instruction on importing sky from you. has it been missent to somebody. I am dying for it. You might have seen that most of my pictures has problem of dull or overexposed sky. Please send it again. My E-mail id is pradyoth.chakraborty@gmail.com. Yes the modification uploaded by Jester is really good.
If you're having problems sending/receiving it Frank, why don't you temporarily post it as a page on your website and link to it from here?
If it will help, I can do that for you using mine?
Or look here.
Bren.
An interesting picture. There are some good details in the old brick work. What the image needs is some early morning or late evening slanting sun light. The light is rather flat.
Yes Bren's mod with a lovely blue sky has added interest. How ever as he says maybe some clouds too would help.
It is obvious the photo was taken in flat and diffused light as there are no shadows. (no direct sun light)
Ian
Thank you Frank I got it just now. There is a server problem here. However, thanks a lot. I will try to change the sky in some of my pictures , if I face any problem please ensure I will get help of my friends. I feel it is a must for me, I should learn it.
