A good juxtaposition and an interesting range of expressions on the pcs' faces. I'm sure one of them is trying not to laugh out loud!
B&w is perfect - no distraction needed.
Bill
Varied facial expressions but a grim determination in the body language of the PCs, standing tall and shoulder to shoulder, heads held high and eyes focussed in the dfistance. Captured the moment very well Tony; has to be b/w, as woolybill says no distraction.
Richard
A historical document in a way - they've started to worry about their pensions now.
Moira
Not how it works nowadays, Nathan. They're probably working their day off at no recompense having been cancelled 28days previously!!
Excellent angle you've got there, Tony, some great expressions.
Dave
Excellent reportage photography, Tony. Takes me back to my time in the force and a few local disputes in Southampton involving the dockers... B&W is the only version for this scene.
Malc
A very real capture of the thin Black and White Line Tony.

Love shots like this when the photographer goes head on and mixes with the hustle and bustle of the crowds at demonstrations like this - no chance of a tripod mounded shot in the case!! The choice of mono works a real treat and has captured that thin blue line superbly. Smashing.
Dave.
