Super in mono, Mavis, but it looks more like a park than a garden! Love the smoke from the damp leaves billowing around, reminds me of my childhood, it used to be a weekend treat for me and my father to have a bonfire in the garden, and if I was lucky I could light it! Have a great time this Christmas. Carol

Some super light and shadow cast over the solitary figure as he gazes out over the smoke-filled garden.

pity this is soft, otherwise it might have had an award, can you rescan and get it sharper, the interplay with the lighting is super

Glad you gave it a go, this is excellent. Perfectly timed for the silhouette against the light. He's a bit central though - I might be tempted to crop a chunk off the right hand side.

What a cracker Mavis. I missed this probably because you were late uploading it. You should do more mono.
Tell Alan to light a fire in the garden.

Very atmospheric - great silhouette of the gardener against the light. You did well to produce this from an old slide Mavis.
