Indeed, quite different.

Makes me wonder what it would look like having the mirror setup the same way with a non distracting background. So all your really focused upon is the mirror on canvas stand and whatever image you choose to portray. Could get some really nice shots with that.

Good sight though Wink

Aj Miles have a look at the other photo which has no distractions behind!!

Great idea and quite unusual, which is quite refreshing and a fine testimonial for your imagination and creativity.

I find the lady sitting on the right of the picture obstructive because she has such a pose that interacts with you, I would think the pic would be enhanced if she was communicating with the gardener as if she shouted at him. Asking people politely to do something for you never damaged any picture I know of.

I don't mind about the part of the building which is visible, I think it adds to the feeling of rustic location. But I shall comment that there are lots of lines there and various angles taht could be taken care of. Various little deyaild could have made it even better as the inclusion of the whole of the leg of the mirror holder or the inclusion of the roof of the building in the mirror. Little things that could have been done with a better positioning of you while holding the camera. Probably the gardener came back with the cart loaded, when you have chances to take more pictures just go for it.

Welcome to EPZ Brian.

A very creative and interesting idea. Ive seen your other upload also. Its tagged well as humour/fun, as it is both.

As I understand, you have a lot of control over the set up. And I understand you want to include a background as well as the reflection in the mirror. In this one its an unplanned, spur of the moment shot, - so taking that into account, and that you already know how to set up without the lady etc, its excellent.

Enjoy the site,

regards

I like this a lot. I would have included more of the lady as she is part of the story. Well seen and recorded.

An excellent idea and well spotted. What a pity you had to use the angle that you did because I do find the angle of the rear building a little off-putting. However given you didn't have a choice, what you have shown both in the mirror and also the lady in the background, make this a very interesting piece of work.
