We’re still at the Bogus Callers’ ceilidh. I thought I’d better show that some actual dancing did get done.
Bear in mind that the reason Bill plays in a band is to get out of doing this all night.
Very imperfect shots, but a lot of fun.
Keep an eye open for the young man in a kilt in the final version, he gets star billing tomorrow.
If you have time, please view Large.
Thanks for looking,
Moira

Allthe very best

Well spotted, that man - #1 is indeed the Gay Gordons. Thanks to everyone and good morning. The weekend shopping is done, Bill is supplied with tea, the laundry and cleaning are being politely ignored; now I can settle down to some time on the site.
Moira

love it Moira, i like the way the shots are framed just to finnish them off, and what better subject to view than people having fun and enjoying themselves

They all seem to know what they're doing. Are they regulars?
They also seem to be having a great time - and yet not a pint in sight.
I love the different arrangements of arms and legs you can see in the various pictures. I'd be hard pressed to say which are my faves. Perhaps #1,5 & 6

There are quite a few regulars here Lucy - and it's good that a lot of young people turn up to this sort of thing.
Pints were kept well away from the dance floor...

Super fun shots Moira, they made me smile, so mission accomplished with these candids. For some reason very drawn to v3 - maybe because of the central figure, but love all the happy smiles.
I did spot the kilted gentleman, but also another red tartan is visible in the background.

Excellent series of shots Moira - give me a barn dance over a disco any day and I think you've captured it so well. A great variety of people all mixing and everyone with happy faces having immense fun in large part because of confusion.-Do hope you got out there yourself even if Bill hid away in the band?
