My thanks to all who CandC'd on The Lifebelt and especially to those who offered a comment on the compositional element.
Here's another from Sunday past, this time with no f/g clutter......the Glenlee berthed alongside our new Riverside Museum of Transport.
The Glenlee is now a museum in it's own right.
Ronnie.
(PS. I have posted a not dissimilar image previously........on my current Page 4 under the title Glasgow's Tall Ship and where info. on the ship was recorded........but under different lighting conditions........R)

Ah yes Ronnie, I like this much better, the Museum of Transport building behind, while I'm sure the contents are of great interest (I remenber how much I enjoyed it when at the old southside location), I'm not so sure of the design, maybe it grows on you, perish the thought! What a missed opportunity to not have an overall plan when they decided to reclaim the docksides, instead of this, the Armadillo, the BBC building, etc., etc.
Rgds., Jim
Morning Ronnie, prefer this one without the modern lifebelt, the clean lines of the Glenlee look wonderful with the coat of fresh paint.

Awww, isn't she a beauty???
Nice capture, and the museum is the right bg for this beautiful ship.
Johanna

Excellent detail and the colours are spot on

Again Ronnie the winter blue sky gives a prefct backdrop to this shot i also like the POV you have adopted here as it has minimised the building clutter that would have shown if you had taken the shot square on

Lovely colours againt that wonderful blue sky, just rain and grey here.Well done..Lin
a fine ship indeed! here the museum is not perceived to be intrusive, as we have only 2 main elements.
The colour is just stunning
