Defying all logic, I took the Lensbaby to the demolition site. I realise that I see different things when I’m using it...
V4: Warren turned up the day after the Bank Holiday weekend with the most spectacular black eye I’ve ever seen. He insisted that he got it while refereeing an under-10s’ football match.
Nobody believed him.
That day he was trusted with nothing more demanding than holding the hose to damp down the dust.
My apologies for very little time on the site at present, real life keeps intruding...
Thanks for looking,
Moira

beautiful set Moira, excellent bending and focus.
the sense of "oh my god, everything is falling down" is perfectly rendered with the LB.
I'm a bit worry if a bunch of 10 years old boys can give you a thrashing like this.
real life is always dispersive! SmileWink

You've used the LB to great effect Moira, almost like motion blur, gives the digger a more sinister destructive feel,
fine set of a rather more artistic documentation of the demolition,
Adrian

The LB gives some unusual and interesting images of the building site. They'll fit in nicely with the more documentary type shots.

It's that optical infant again. Does a Lensbaby Composer provide a musical accompaniment to your photography? Now that might be a really original twist if it does.

I do believe Warrens story Moira.A friend of mine used to manage an under 10 football team, and the matches could be very wild affairs indeed. Not from the kids, but from the spectating parents !! If you ask Warren,I bet he will tell you he got it from a father because he never awarded a penalty when his son was brought down in the box !!

the lensbaby were an excellent idea, the distortion adds so much dynamism to the shots. an inspired choice, as well as the mono.

For me, V3 conveys the spirit of the demolition.....the going into nothingness of a once vibrant building.

These are excellent Moira. I can hear that machine and see the swoosh of it battering that buillding. V2, here it comes again. V3 getting closer. V4 get out of the way. Such a good idea taking that LB to the site............Sandy

Perfect use of the LB - it gives a sense of movement, of clouds of dust, or energy. V1 is particularly good. Did you whistle at Warren to get him to turn round, showing his black eye? Wink
