Nice - a good shot to get the "big picture" of the day. Typically, I'd prefer more of an insider's viewpoint of the canal, maybe a lower perspective (if that would have been possible) and and individual subject, but there's something about the openness and even light that balances the image. Maybe a smaller aperture? I think the buildings in the back would add a nice presence, although it's lovely just as it is.
