. . ok it's been done a thousand times . . but never from my camera . . . in the rain!

. . having slept in the shadow of this icon . . the least it could do was record it!

A much visited place, but still a cracking take on it. Very effective exposure

Super shot,

Jack.

Wonderful view and exposure . Just my thought would have cropped
Just to the edge of the tree on the left as seems to split the image

I totally agree you had to do this having slept there - I love its moodiness.

A beautifully composed image: the rain and its associated soft lighting work so well in muting the colours which seems so appropriate to my way of thinking for this locale. Lovely bit of work.

Never tire of seeing this waterfall, it changes with each drop of rain that falls, and they fall at times here a plenty. Very subtle play of light and nicely muted colours in the bracken. Autumn and Winter are the times to be on the moor, summer is for thee tourists.

Fab shot and well worth the wait. Love the muted colours and the mist on the mountain.

Was I asleep when you took this Mike? It looks a bit better than when I stuck my head outta the window...
Cheers, Goggz
