The guardians of Dubrovnik, or that is how it seemed as I was perched on the top of Mount Srd looking down on the goats even more precariously perched than I was!

A wonderful view of the city at night, I like the inclusion of the goats
wonderful shot. It is a double blessing to me as I stood about there 30 years ago, on a snowy day and loved the view. (only had an old voiglander though)
and as it happens, I always dreaded to go back there because I was afraid the war had destroyed it all.
You just reassured me.
Thank you Ed and Annette ... the only evidence in the town of the Homeland War is in the exhibitions and the photography of the time. There has been an amazing job done to put everything right ... at the top of Mt Srd the fort is as it was and it is then when it hits home how awful this was for the Croatians.
