While wondering round Santorini taken hundreds of photos as you do, I stumbled across this lucky couple with a wedding photo backdrop to die for. Of course I snapped a few shots......... who wouldn't?
Works well for me --i might of composed it not to have the sky in--i can see why you have as its a nice skyline ,but for e the skys a bit plain. A harder composition with just the houses in works and asks further questions.
Hi Kim, I posted a similar one recently from a different angle with more buildings less sky. Got quite a few from different places and was trying them out thanks for the vote and comments....
They do look close to the edge. A well taken opportunity (pun intended).
These vistas of fine pastel colours and trim buildings are beautiful enough and very worthy. It seems though, a focal point subject is a really good idea. Your couple seem to offer a sort of anchor for the eye in a sea of pretty homes.
If I were ever to visit there, I would look for a shop front, a horse, potted trees or some subject to add to your beautiful backdrop. Yours here is an excellent picture and with the couple, especially good stuff! TG
Thanks very much Tony.
