I'm not sure you should ever mix beer, photography and religion, but this weekend I was at the Hull Real Ale & Cider Festival, held for the first time at Holy Trinity church in Hull's Old Town. As well as sampling some of the beers and admiring the church architecture, I thought I'd have a go at some people photography - which I found wasn't as easy as it seems (especially after a few ales - including one from the Titanic brewery, which went down well!).

Thanks for all the C&C's on my last upload from the 'Botanics,

Cheers,
Philip

Beer & Bible Study! Smile Not sure it will catch on. Very good candid despite the trying circumstances.

What an unusual venue for such a festival, Philip Smile. An excellent capture, like the b&w presentation. Carol

Super shot and regards the drink Jesus drank wine. I just wish our church didn't use non alchoholic wine for communion it's HORRIBLE. Thanks also for being my 30th vote a lovely surprise.

Hello Phillip, this is indeed an interesting photo! I could never imagine brewed beverages being served at any religious centre. None the less, the photo is very well detailed even in b&w.

What a wonderful combination. I like all three and the mix would suit me just fine. Glad to make it 30
