Not the first time this particular location has appeared on here ... but the first time I've had chance to shoot it Grin

After managing to crowd a mixture of our 3 tripods and a multitude of lenses around here, I finally got the shot I was after ... much to the disgruntled gentleman still sat in his car waiting for me to leave, his camera sat neatly on his tripod waiting for his turn [I could see him eagerly looking in his rear-view mirror].

Anyway, after I'd had my fill I went back to the car to pack up and put down the tailgate. As I set off, I did laugh quite loud as another car pulled into the spot by the jetty and a woman climbed out camera in hand and began to get her shots ... not sure how much longer he had to wait for his shot WinkSmile

Cheers for looking in and getting past the thumbnail. Just off to pick up dinner, catch up soon.

Paul

Great shot and love the lead into the water and then onto the boathouse
which has been superbly captured with the reflection

Paul this really is a beautiful image, I find it so relaxing to look at! The lighting on the jetty & fg grasses compliment the darker tones of the boat shed beautifully! I'm envious, I went here a couple of years ago in the rain and came away with nothing Sad

I have only ever driven past this place in the past Sarah, so I was quite happy with what I came away with on this occasion ... that said, the sun did pop out from behind the cloud as we were driving away Grin

Cheers folks for all your time and comments ... even you Crowder Wink

A fine image mate. It's the contrast here of the light and dark that gets me.
