would have liked to have seen the shot from in front of the line.....background is a bit disappointing, but you could perhaps change/clone that. Smile

This is less satisfying compositionally than the shot of your son - it's a bit of a jumble of people. As cats_123 says it would have been better to show the front of the line, so there is some engagement between the viewer and the players. Again you have chopped off the feet of the person nearest the camera. If you had pointed the camera down a bit more you could have excluded more of the background and focussed more on the players for a more dynamic shot.

As has been said, you'd have been better off taking this from a little farther to the right.
Apart from having the action coming towards you, I reckon you'd have been able to shoot it as a portrait which would have got rid of most of the distractions in the background.
Also, this isn't straight although that's hardly surprising, given the circumstances! Easily rectified in software.
