Another one from my 'window' personal challenge, taken at Lanhydrock House in Cornwall. (The aim was to include windows without blowing the highlights).
Your comments and votes much appreciated on yesterday's snowdrop with a special thank you to LynneJoyce for her UA.
Off looking after the little twins again today - keeps you on your toes!!
Best wishes
Carole

Great light and shadows Carol, I take the easy way and take two captures one for light, one for shadows and blend them in Photoshop, your way saves time.

Trev.
Definitely well exposed for your challenge! I like this picture a lot it's full of interest and is clean and pin sharp - you actually have two pictures here (bonus) you could try isolating the top portion just showing the window and skylight with lamp on its own, just a thought![]()
Very well captured, Carole. The bright light of the window is balanced by the sunlight on the door and floor. A lovely perspective and balanced image.
Dave

A very well captured and presented image, Carole, especially as all the contrasty light must have been a nightmare! ![]()
