A big thankyou to everybody who voted and commented on yesterdays photo of the Common Damselfly.
On to todays photos, i have not seen many Ladybirds yet this year other than when we had the nice warm weather in March, so these images were taken back in September last year.
Ladybirds or Ladybugs as we call them are from the family Coccinellidae. And there are approx 3000 different species on Earth. Only 46 species found in the UK and only 26 of these recognisable as Ladybirds. They come in all different colours, Common red, Lime Green, White, Black just to name a few.
