This is my last upload of 2012 and it's one I found in the depths of my hard drive. It is on one of the plains of the New Forest and is a bleak area when the weather's horrible most of the time. I haven't had a chance to do any photography this holiday so I'm itching for some decent light and a bit of time to take some shots.

i like the colours of the sky and on the tree. the position of the tree gives an almost 3d effect. well taken
there is a similar tree close to where i am which was struck by lightening a few years back now i'll have to wait for a nice sky and go take a picture.

I'm hoping to pluck up the courage to take some milky way shots with this tree as the f/g interest. It's a long way from the road so a torch is essentialSmile I'm not scared of the dark but I am scared of nuttersTongue
