This image was made almost the longest day of the year - there seems to be something good about making the effort to be out for sunrise when it is so ridiculously early!
Because of the huge dynamic range in the image I did something I very rarely do - I made two exposures, one for the sky and one for the meadow and blended them together
I used a wide angle lens and hyperfocal focusing to make sure i had depth of field from the flowers just centimetres from the front of the lens right through to the sun in the distance.

A very charming shot! Love the position of and shape of the daisy/ox eye cluster. It has a nice summer meadow feel to it.
