Paige in one of her more thoughtful moments, she does this expression so well but I like to see her face crinkle up when she gives me a big smile, usually as I start to end the session ![]()
Lit with one softbox & triflector opposite, against a lump of black velvet.
Thanks for taking the time to look/comment.

Gorgeous portrait.
Paige is very beautiful.
I know her skin will be perfect but did you
use healing brush or any other tools to get it so smooth
and perfect all over?
When I take pictures of my grandchildren, there are always imperfections
to tidy up or hairs in the way!

Congratulations on GEA.
Thankyou.
Thanks for your UA Chris.
Kate,I don't use skin softening with Paige, there are always stray hairs to tidy up with her as her hair is soooo unruly but I generally restrict the 'tidying' to areas around her eyes & mouth.A very crafty move is the use of the strip of chiffon to keep it out of her eyes, looks quite girly as well as being practical ![]()
I think the look of the skin is very much dependant on the lighting too,I used a large softbox to her right & a gold triflector to her left here which tends to 'soften' the skin without the use of processing techniques.

The colour of that scarf is spot on to match her wonderful eyes - lovely capture ![]()
