One from a few months back, cant believe I forgot to post it, although I still have plenty of these in my garden - their seedheads should make nice winter subjects. Almost straight out of the camera, healing brush used to remove a tiny intrusion.

This a stunning picture (I can't think why it's in the modifiable section - what's to modify/improve?). It's helped enormously by the (very) out of focus b/g. The blade of grass crossing the stalk of the subject flower is interesting - first I think it's a distraction, then I think it appears to support the flower..... Nicely muted colours too.

Wondering what aperture was used to provide such a narrow dof with an 18-55mm lens... could it have been your macro lens?

Well done.

Thanks for all the votes and comments everyone.

Dave D Its been a while since I shot this and I did not have my macro lens then, but I probably used one of my macro filters screwed onto the end of my 18-55mm.
