Is it the most photographed boat in Northumberland?...possibly...but show me it with lobster pots.
I hope your weekends are just great.
Thought it might be yours. Lovely light as usual and stunning composition.
Superb image but I feel the lobster pots are just a little lost in the undergrowth, however the lighting appears to be excellent and the regular composition for this shot works well again.
Who care's if we've seen it many times before - superb shot.
I wonder how they got there?.
mouth watering! LOL . . hope she's still there when I get up soon? . . . super evening light and imaculate details . . [and not a lamp post to be seen] . . .
what ever are you suggesting, Andy?
she'll be there, Mike
Superbly taken; looks almost toooo good to be true!
. . do I need my own lobby pots?
You'll have to see.
Apricot soup's not on the menu today then? LOL,
I like the way the prow just rises above the horizon.
Are the lobster pots heavy? Lol,
Beautiful lighting and excellent composition - a winner all the way
Heavy....how would I know?
I chickened out of soup...brickwall/head/bang....n stuff.
Cracking light Keith!
like all the elements in this...
Cracking shot Mr H. Thought you might have darkened the sky a tad. Perfect pot placement though.
Darkened?....no, I like the summer softnes of it. Variety is money, Bri.
Lovely image, nice light and good composition. Well caught!
Fantastic Composition, love the depth of colour.
Great composition, fabulous colours,it's great.
Wot no lobsters in em !!
Lovely light, super shot. Geoff
up there meself soon ... would be nice to get light like this and to capture it as good as this
Are those pots from the same plugin as the rabbits footprints?
get real...crustacean and fur in the same plug-in?
I suppose this is a game of tag right? The next one has to photograph the boat, the lobster pots and a hat stand and so on... Good shot BTW. Nick.
Nice warm colours and strong composition.
It is true that subtle doesn't always work here on EPZ at any level.
A great composition and wonderful colour. Not sure about the lobster pots though! Well done.
Hi Keith, another amazing shot mate, they just keep on coming.
Did you use any filters with this shot?
cheers you two...yup, a two stop soft, Ian
Hi Keith, what brand of filters do you use?, and which filters would you say you use the most for landscape work?
I use LEE, Ian...and you can pick up a set from Speedgraphic very reasonably - the set includes a 1,2 and 3 stop grad and that will do just fine until you get more involved.
Another beauty Keith full of detail, excellent composition and wonderful warm light..
Yeah right use LEE, check his bag and find some Cokin X-Pro filters for when no one is looking,170 x 130 and they are great, lol
LOL!!...the Cokin's are in the bottom of the draw...I might give them away one day.
Send em my way then Keith, i need a few more.
do you mind a few scratches...what am I saying??.. 'course you don't.
excellent as ever......
Strangely enough, I would have thought that grouping the three key elements of castle (is that a man-made mound or a natural hill?), lobster pots and boat so closely together, with so much space around them, wouldn't have worked. But it does work, and forms a beautifully balanced composition. Which just goes to show how much I know.
Great shot. good colour & contrast. Interesting subject.
natural rocky outcrop
cheers you lot
Love the coastal images more than anything. Cheers.
You mean the lobster pots you placed there before taking the shot?
Lee now eh? I bet in this weather, the Lee's are 'cookin'!!
I hope not...they are on the back seat of the car as we speak......erm...cookin'
Placed me?...touched pots that didn't belong to me? Me?
Love the image and the accompanying interplay!
Super comp & light.
That red boat in the bay really zings out at you!!
Beautiful colour and light, an absolute corker Keith.
Looks like you had a good time up there, plenty of cracking images including this one.
I've had worse weeks
Hi Keith,they have all said it,pure magic.Love it.Take care.ann
Blimey the boat nearly jumps out of the screen on the big un'..so how many miles from Somerset is this?..maybe one day!
I know the boat well!! Mine's in B&W. Great shot.
400, Nigel....get going if you want to make dawn
cheers you lot
You ever thought of doing this for a living?
Sometimes.....but the moment passes.
not surprised really - you'd never get to chill out watching telly on your sofa..
(ps like the Sale ad pic!)
I hate it!!! It's made up of mine...but I didn't design it.
Awwww. I thought it was good but there you go...
Nice one - and the lobster pots do really add to it Bruce
Never mind the lobster pots, i bet you had a job moving the boat?.
Well done Keith one more for your wall.
somebody elses wall hopefully
Great shot Keith.
