A quickie break from Switzerland…but I’ll be back with more! Wink
A few of our Camera Club members visited the Armley Mills Industrial Museum in Leeds on Wednesday. The weather was grey, wet and very dismal Sad Fortunately, we were indoors for most of our visit, except to venture outside to access a couple of other buildings. Also, luckily for us, there were very few other visitors there to get in the way of our photography – probably put off by the weather! The staff, I have to point out, were very helpful and there was no problem with us using tripods. At the end of our tour around, a very helpful lady took us into the Manager’s House and the Weaver’s House next door, which are normally kept locked as they are accessed from outside the museum. One of my favourite shots of the day is this image of the Manager’s House showing the living room. I normally only shoot one image of a scene as, other than today, I rarely use a tripod, but here I took four bracketed exposures which I’ve blended together in Photomatix Pro.

Four Raw images processed in Adobe Camera Raw, blended in Photomatix Pro and tweaked in Elements 6.

Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.
Trev Smile

Great colours which could be boosted by an increase in contrast

What a very lovely room - how lucky to have had the opportunity to see areas not normally available to the public! The processing is super, Trev, just right Smile

I've often remarked on the excellence of your normal processing. This is very different and it has very special quality to it but still with a very natural look. Great work.
