Not sure about this one Ronnie with the unusual lighting effect. The composition is fine.

What lovely light Ronnie - was it quite late in the day?
There's a Groupon offer today for Balmaha.
We've only been once to climb Conic Hill.
Lovely harbour scene.

A fine, calm evening. The blue and yellow palette gives it the taste of autumn.

good day Ronnie was just looking over at the dark side and there seemed to be lots of blue sky and light today but a tad fresh to say the least.
I see from this shot you have been tresspassing yet again, a fine tranquil scene like the use of the reeds/whatever in the F/g and the tinges of autumnal colour nice one

Happy new week

I like the reeds in the foreground, Ronnie. The yellowish light is what I always called watery sunlight. The light reflected of the water brightens up the image well.

Excellent image and wonderful lighting Ronnie.
It doesn't really matter if the lighting or any aspect of an image is altered if the photographer thinks it improves the emotional impact or whatever - I call it artistic license. GrinGrinGrin

It's a very engaging image due to the many layers and especially the lines of the jetty making a very structured graphic comp. It works really well and due to all the levels of interest there is no flow out of frame by the water. Great stuff! Smile
