I spotted this on a trip to Liverpool's World Museum. I've no idea where it's from or what purpose it was worn for, as there was no plaque to explain.
I won't make any cracks about it baring an uncanny resemblance to a certain Scotsman with a perchant for rust....

Very Striking! Looks a bit like that ugly bloke you're pointing at in the photagraph at the top of your Gallery.
I reckon it's as well for you that there are a lot of miles between Edinburgh and the Fenland...

I like the attention to detail. The mask maker has even put some plaque around the gum edges of the teeth.
