Hi, another shot from last weekend, still buzzing, had a great time. I would just like to say thanks to the family I spoke to for a few minutes, they might never see this one, but this is for them. Time was getting on and the light was becoming that way when its time to pack up. The man in shot was into his field sports, hence to 2 working dogs in shot. He was just about to go when I asked if he would be in my shot. All I said was go back to the point he had been and look out at the lighthouse, the dogs just stoped to wait. I ran off 3 quick shots, you would not want to see the others, total blow out. His wife and other child were just left of shot they had just moved there about a year ago from down south, and like me did not know the beach was there. Big big thanks..............

As always thanks for all the great comments.........................have a great weekend........what to do......!

Paul.

Very well composed with the two dogs joining in to look out at
Ailsa Craig (is it ?). Good light on the rocks and the man well positioned.
Dark rock against light part of sky - all working in your favour!

Very nicely composed and detailed Paul, the inclusion of the Man and his dogs gives a sense of scale to this wonderful image, excellent control with the lighting, very well done, Bill.

You couldn't have placed the dogs better, Paul, and the composition is very good.

Super I age Paul, great composition. I particularly like where the man is placed, right on the convergence of the light and darker side of the image

Nice comp, the dogs really help the shot plus the lighting and the man could not be placed in a better place, in the time you had you did well.

The inclusion of the chap and his dogs does allow appreciation of scale here: a most attractive shot looking out to the Bass Rock.
