A herd of about 200 Cape Buffalo were crossing the road in front of us. Very luckily another vehicle came up on the other side, illuminating the beasts one by one. The Cape Buffalo is considered to be the most dangerous, aggressive and unpredictable mammal in Africa. Having seen them in action, I can honestly say I agree with this sentiment.
Taken on the road north of Pretoriuskop, in the Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga Province, South Africa.
