I should add a thank you to Katie - after all it is your dress - I wonder what other goodies you have in your dressing up box? ![]()
Anyway, I wasn't going to try it out this evening but simply couldn't resist and as I still had the net out thought I'd better chuck it over my head as well......
It might be a bit dark but I just can't lighten it to my satisfaction so have opted to leave it alone.

That ... is excellent. Wouldn't look out of place hanging in a large gold, ornate frame, touch of the old masters about it.
The darkness adds to the period, oil painting feel. Like it!

Thanks everyone - you can guarantee I'll be wearing this dress a few more times yet! Mind you, I'd sooner be compare to Anne Bancroft's Estella character than Miss Havisham ![]()
