My pal Aaron brought into work today a dress that had been torn and tattered for a Halloween outfit belonging to his girlfriend. He's a wonderful source of accessories!

I should add a thank you to Katie - after all it is your dress - I wonder what other goodies you have in your dressing up box? Smile

Anyway, I wasn't going to try it out this evening but simply couldn't resist and as I still had the net out thought I'd better chuck it over my head as well......

It might be a bit dark but I just can't lighten it to my satisfaction so have opted to leave it alone.

ooooo very Miss Haversham Alison.
Could have done with you in that dress yesterday whilst I was in the haunted Church...would have been fun !

That ... is excellent. Wouldn't look out of place hanging in a large gold, ornate frame, touch of the old masters about it.

The darkness adds to the period, oil painting feel. Like it!

Thanks everyone - you can guarantee I'll be wearing this dress a few more times yet! Mind you, I'd sooner be compare to Anne Bancroft's Estella character than Miss Havisham Smile

Oh thanks for the mod Michael - I almost uploaded a toned version but changed my mind - as I do frequently!

Don't lighten it - FANTASTIC shot - the subtle darkness helps the mystery of the image .....blinder of an image!
